Richard R. Browne has been a member of Capital Management Group, LLC since the fall of 2002 and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Partner since 2008. He is the lead consultant on all insurance related products and serves as a member on the investment committee. He is an avid learner and continues to increase his knowledge in the industry by participating in various conferences, professional courses and study groups, to maintain leading edge thinking and a competitive advantage in the industry.
During the past 15 years, he has helped the firm raise over 1 Billion in assets under advisement and was a leader in building the retirement planning business now known as CMG Benefits Advisors, LLC. Rich helps clients to reach their personal and financial goals through a comprehensive planning process including, cash flow analysis, risk and wealth management and estate and tax planning strategies.
Since receiving his CFP® designation in 2008, Rich has also earned advanced designations as a Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP®), a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). Individuals often seek his guidance when facing life’s challenges such as retirement, divorce, death of a loved one, or when life-transitions pose many questions. His clients value long-term relationships, and include entrepreneurs, professionals, individuals, families and businesses.
Rich is a graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelors of Science degree and has achieved a Certificate in Retirement Planning from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In 2012 he was honored and entered into the Order of Excalibur one of the highest levels of recognition within Equitable Advisors. He was inducted into Equitable Advisors Hall of Fame in 2016.
In his personal time, Rich enjoys cooking, golf, baseball, walking, running and mostly spending time with his wife, Willy and their four children Blake, Cristian, Clark & Grady.

The designation’s required curriculum is administered by The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, which is accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Philadelphia, PA. The mark RICP® is the property of The American College and may be used only by individuals who have successfully completed the initial and ongoing certification requirements for this designation.
